anthimeria: unicorn rampant, first line of Kipling's "The Thousandth Man" (The Novel)
From: [personal profile] anthimeria
It's so interesting to me that our readings of the Holmes/Watson in this movie are so very different! I got annoyance and different priorities from both of them, but also a sense that it didn't matter what else was going on in their lives--Irene, Mary, Moriarty, Moran, the Game!--that they are always going to be each other's best partner.

I very much swooned over the several scene where Holes loads/preps a weapon, hands it to Watson, and Watson grabs it without looking and fires. Just--they're so utterly and completely in synch.

Not to mention, they get to DANCE (so much squeaking) and Holmes does not let Watson think he's dead for 3 years.
